‘Bury the Devil’: Brainstorm Acquires Single-Take Exorcism Horror [Trailer]

Blue Finch Films announced sales for their exorcism horror Bury the Devil, revealing that it has sold to Brainstorm Media for the US and Black Fawn for Canada.
In a daring single-take thriller, a hospice nurse trapped with a dementia patient uncovers a dark, otherworldly secret.
“Director Adam O’Brien delivers 86 minutes of nerve-shredding tension and twisty exorcism terror!” hypes the fest. “Putting the viewer in the terrifying action from the start, taking every step and misstep, the unravelling mystery makes for a fun, twisty roller-coaster ride that puts a new spin on the exorcism genre.”
“This film depicts the most harrowing 90 minutes of our protagonist’s life, and I felt that the most visceral way to really feel this was to do a single-shot film,” O’Brien commented. “We are with her every step and misstep she takes – through the unraveling of the mystery to the horror of her discovery. It’s a fun, twisty roller-coaster ride that puts a new spin on exorcisms.”
