Shark Thriller ‘Deep Water’ Swims to VOD and Digital This June
Following his The Strangers trilogy, next up for director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Deep Blue Sea) is his shark-attack film, Deep Water, swimming to streaming next month.
Dread learned today that Deep Water will be heading to VOD and digital platforms on June 16th, 2026.
In Deep Water, a flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai goes down in the middle of the Pacific. After surviving the crash, the survivors soon discover they’re not alone, and they must survive the shark-infested waters.
The film stars Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight, I, Frankenstein), Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island) and Molly Belle Wright.
Chad Collins reviewed Deep Water, writing that it is “an intermittently fun — if oddly sentimental— killer-shark flick.”
Deep Water has been rated R for “violent content and bloody images.”
