‘Faces of Death’ Streaming Date Revealed
The buzz is strong for Shudder and IFC’s Faces of Death, a strange new feature that pulls the original VHS-era series into the real world, where a killer forces viewers to question whether viral videos are real or staged… and, according to the red-band trailer, Charli xcx seems to enjoy them.
After a short theatrical run, the unique spin on the original films is making its way to streaming, joining VOD and digital platforms on May 12th, 2026.
In Faces of Death, now in theaters, a woman (Barbie Ferreira) working as a content moderator for a major video platform discovers what appears to be reenactments of murders from the original film. In an online world where nothing can be trusted, she must determine whether the violence is fiction or unfolding in real time.
Directed by CAM’s Daniel Goldhaber, the new Faces of Death is co-written by Isa Mazze and stars Barbie Ferreira, Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, Charli XCX, and Jermaine Fowler.
