‘Kill Bill’, ‘Death Proof’ and ‘Planet Terror’ Streaming on Peacock Next Month

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is continuing its rollout across platforms after finally reaching U.S. theaters in December 2025. The long-awaited extended cut debuted on the big screen on December 5, followed by a digital (PVOD) release on February 17, 2026. Now, the film is set to make its subscription streaming debut on Peacock on May 22, 2026, expanding its availability to a wider audience.
Alongside Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, Peacock will launch a broader lineup of films connected to Quentin Tarantino. The collection includes Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, Inglourious Basterds, Jackie Brown, and Reservoir Dogs.
The service will also feature the two components of the Grindhouse project – Death Proof and Planet Terror – presented as separate films rather than the original double-feature format.
Grindhouse was released in 2007 as a collaboration between Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. The project combined two feature-length films – Death Proof, directed by Tarantino and starring Kurt Russell, and Planet Terror, directed by Rodriguez and starring Rose McGowan – into a single theatrical experience designed to replicate the style of vintage exploitation double features.
Despite its concept, Grindhouse underperformed at the box office during its initial release. Following its theatrical run, the two films were separated and distributed individually for international markets and home viewing, where they developed a larger audience over time.
