‘Stranger Things: Tales From ’85’: Watch the First 6 Minutes Right Now!
Those creatures can’t get out, or it’s game over.
Netflix has dropped the first six minutes from its animated Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85, which hits the streaming service on April 23.
Tales From ’85 is set in the Stranger Things universe between Seasons 2 and 3 and features characters fans already know and love — but with a twist:
“The year is 1985, it’s a freezing winter in Hawkins, and our heroes are about to embark on an epic journey where the original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorizing their town.”
The footage starts with a big tease before reintroducing all our favorite characters… only young again. It’s got the exact same vibe as the live-action series and looks like something special will be streaming later this week.
The animated series hails from showrunner Eric Robles and Stranger Things co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer.
The voice cast includes Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Benjamin Plessala as Will, Brett Gipson as Hopper, Jeremy Jordan as Steve, as well as Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips.
