Fox Nabs Dougherty’s Werewolf Show Bitches

Word came down this morning via The Hollywood Reporter that Michael Dougherty’s proposed TV series about four female friends in New York who are werewolves, “Bitches”, is now officially being developed over at Fox!
“Pushing Daises” writers Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts are on board to supervise Dougherty and serve as executive producers on the show, which has received a “script plus penalty” commitment from the network, which basically means the studio will have some kind of penalty attached if the show doesn’t at least get a pilot.
Dougherty’s best know to horror fans as the writer/director of “>Trick ‘r Treat, the horror film everyone raves about but no one’s seen. Hopefully a TV series will be enough to convince someone to finally put out the damn thing.
