It was back in April when I first told you about production beginning on The Darkest Evil, a new adaptation of Lovecraft’s classic tale The Dunwich Horror starring Jeffrey Combs. Today we bring you the exclusive first trailer from this Lovecraftian horror!
Since I last wrote about it the Darkest Evil title has been dropped and outright changed to The Dunwich Horror. Directed by Leigh Scott (Beast of Bray Road, Transmorphers) under the banner of Bullet Films, Jeffrey Combs takes on the role of Wilbur Whateley, the diabolical man looking to free the “Old Ones” once he gets his hands on the Necronomicon. That role was played by Dean Stockwell in the 1970’s film version; look for him in a different role in this version.

Talk is of a limited theatrical release in the next year. Until then, here’s the first teaser trailer for this latest adaptation of The Dunwich Horror.
