Poster for Final Horrorfest Film, Voices!
For reasons that should be pretty obvious, I like the new poster for Voices, the final film After Dark has chosen for next year’s Horrorfest, running January 9th-15th, 2009. There are some similarities to artwork that’s very near & dear to us that makes me smile.
Arrow in the Head are holding onto the entire piece of art so be sure to click the teaser image for the whole thing. For those with short attention spans, Voices is a gory Korean import that was formerly know as Someone Behind You. The official synopsis goes something like this; After witnessing a family member thrown of a balcony by her fiancée on her wedding day and the violent stabbing of her aunt, a young woman comes to realize she may be next in line. She desperately tries to find out why those around her turn on her and why she seems marked for death. Who can she trust – where can she turn for help when it seems everyone is out to get her. If only she can survive the murderous rage of friends and even her own family long enough to uncover the secret.
And since we’re on the subject, don’t forget about our ongoing “8 Shorts to Die For” contest that we’re doing in conjunction with After Dark Films, which could see you with a brand-new iPhone if you get your short into us soon!
