Keith David Finds His Place in the Horror
Nothing better than a planned family gathering getting all evil because of an ancient pact your elders made with a sprit of their ancestor, know what I mean? That’s what goes down in Robert O’Hara’s freshman feature effort, My Place in the Horror, which Black Film is reporting has just added voiceover master Keith David and easy-on-the-eyes Golden Brooks to its cast.
The story concerns a black family’s reunion that turns bad when the patriarchs of the family make good on a promise made to one of their ancestors, and the younger generation is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice, which I can only assume means themselves. They won’t go quietly into that good night, though, believe me.
