F. Sudol Announces New Horror Series Tales of the Dim

Frank Sudol is a madman. Which is the reason why we love him to pieces. Sudol just announced his latest animated project, the horror series Tales of the Dim, and we have your first look!

Horror series Tales of the Dim from F. Sudol (creator of the cult hit City of Rott and former animator on the South Park Movie) is in the planning stages, with one episode complete and available to watch now online. The first episode, entitled “In the Ceiling,” follows the story of a cranky old Landlord mysteriously losing his new tenants left and right, all while leaving a big mess behind before they disappear. The Landlord is tired of it and has even more doubt in his newest Tenant, Gourdour, who complains of hearing mouse noises in the ceiling of his new apartment room. Soon enough, he’ll discover the true source of these bothersome noises keeping him awake all night long.
With small doses of animated humor, Tales of the Dim focuses on horror and gore as much as possible, building tension before the big payoff in each episode. Fans of “Tales from the Darkside,” “Tales from the Crypt,” and “The Outer Limits” may find Tales of the Dim very entertaining. If the series builds enough of a fan base, more episodes may continue to be produced, with over 26 episodes already envisioned.
