If you read The Gasp Menagerie on a regular basis, you’ll see a lot of sources. We take this journalism stuff seriously here at Dread Central so always cite the source if we attain a story from somewhere else.
You may wonder why we don’t write our own stories from scratch. Where’s the reporting, man?!? Why aren’t you out there exploring the unknown like Kolchak without the quaint little hat?
I’d love to. But there’s only so much weird available to your average guy in Dallas. Texas is full of legends and general weirdness, but it’s also a popular subject so it’s hard to find fresh ground to till up looking for fresh spooky.
That’s where you come in.
Have a weird story? Potential evidence of the supernatural, or at least something hard to explain? Spot any creepy critters out there roaming the wilds?
