Man-Eating Sharks Attack Under the Deep

Save for a few notable exceptions, sharks have mostly been the subject of Syfy-style fare in recent years, which is a total bummer. Once genuinely terrifying movie monsters, they’ve become laughable computer-generated jokes, though Under the Deep hopes to change that.

We tip our hats to Bloody Disgusting for the news that Odin’s Eye Entertainment is selling the shark attack flick at this year’s European Film Market, the film directed by Gerald Rascionato. Check out the first still below along with the plot crunch!

Written by Rascionato and Stephen Lister, the film stars Megan Peta Hill, Joel Hogan, Josh Potthoff, and Pete Valley.

Synopsis:
Three American college students head Down Under to capture great white sharks on film. But when a freak wave capsizes their boat mid cage dive, they are left fighting for and against each other in the world’s most dangerous shark-infested waters.
