The Last of Us – Update From Writer Neil Druckmann

Naughty Dog writer Neil Druckmann is typing away on his script for the feature film adaptation of his video game The Last of Us, and recently he spoke with Game Informer and offered a quick status update to fans.
According to the site, some creative license is being taken with the story, which Druckman says will be “pretty faithful to the game. There are some big changes, but the tone and what the story’s trying to say is pretty faithful to the game.” Druckman goes on to say that he’s already finished the second draft of the script so things are moving along nicely.
If all goes well, “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams will be playing Ellie in the movie.
