Yesterday we brought you Part 1 of our exclusive three-part video interview with FX guru Steve Johnson from the set of director Rob Hall’s Fear Clinic, and now we’re back with Part 2.  The feature bows on DVD and Blu-ray via Anchor Bay Entertainment on February 10, 2015.

In addition to creating some of cinema’s most frightful creatures (Night of the Demons, Return of the Living Dead 3), Johnson, a genre vet and progenitor, has influenced two decades worth of FX artists via his vision. In this series of interviews he discusses Fear Clinic as well as some of his other projects.

We wrap things up tomorrow at the same time with Part 3!

Co-written by Hall and Aaron R. Drane and produced by Drane, Mark Johnson, and Gwen Osborne, Fear Clinic (based on the critically acclaimed and fan favorite 2009 FEARnet web series of the same name) stars Stone Sour and Slipknot lead vocalist Corey Taylor alongside Robert “Freddy Krueger” Englund, Fiona Dourif (Curse of Chucky), Felisha Terrell (“Teen Wolf”), Angelina Armani (Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2), and Thomas Dekker (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”).

Synopsis:
When trauma-induced phobias begin to re-emerge in five survivors a year after their horrifying tragedy, they return to the “Fear Clinic,” hoping to find the answers they need to get cured.

Dr. Andover (Robert Englund), a fear doctor who runs the clinic, uses his Fear Chamber to animate their fears in the form of terrifying hallucinations. However, the good doctor soon begins to suspect that something more sinister may be at work, something that yearns to be more than just a hallucination…
