Nick Cave Gives Update on The Road
If you’ve been wondering what the status is on the John Hillcoat-helmed adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s post-apocalyptic tale of a father’s love, “>The Road, look no further than Nick Cave.
The leader of The Bad Seeds is scoring The Road, and he told the Los Angeles Times in a recent interview that the film is still being tweaked on an almost daily basis. ”A new edit gets sent every three days or so, and your way of seeing can completely change from it,” he explained, ”from just leaving a lingering look for three seconds longer or something like that. It’s very much the same thing with lyrics and music in general.”
I’m sure the film is still on track for its November 26th release date, though the lack of anything new for a while in terms of media is a bit disheartening. We’ll let you know as soon as we get a more solid production update!
