Condition Dead Going 3D?
When the good zombie movie news rains, it pours. Just a few days ago we heard that “>Condition Dead, the badass zombie action script My Bloody Valentine 3D helmer Patrick Lussier is attached to direct, might first see some life (pun intended) as a comic series. Hopefully we’ll have more details on that soon, but there’s even cooler news…
This morning the film’s producer, Clint Morris of Moviehole, upped the ante even more with the announcement that they’re looking to make Condition Dead in 3D! Since Lussier has “nearly perfected” the new 3D technology with his remake of the 80’s slasher classic, he’s more than willing to get this bad boy on the big screen in the eye-popping, ball-grabbing, ass-kicking third dimension.
Whether or not this will happen hinges on the success of My Bloody Valentine 3D of course, but Morris says a lot of insiders are calling it a triumph so it probably won’t be an issue. Condition Dead, in case you’ve forgotten, is the tale of a group of badasses who hunt zombies professionally, being called in whenever there’s an outbreak to clean up the mess and make sure no one’s the wiser. Their latest mission, however, puts them up against two forces of evil the likes of which they’ve never seen: virtually unkillable zombies and ex-wives.
We’ll bring you more updates as they come down!
