Badass Frank Grillo May Return for The Purge 3?!

Whether you liked The Purge: Anarchy or you hated it, you must admit that Frank Grillo totally stole the show, bringing to the screen one of the most badass characters in horror history. And he just might be returning for another go at it. Read on!
In an interview with Collider, Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller spoke briefly about The Purge 3, which is set for release on July 1, 2016. When he was asked if Grillo would be in the film, as fellow star Michael K. Williams recently hinted, Fuller didn’t shoot down the idea.
“Listen, we loved working with him and we thought that he was so good in that role and, you know, if it works to have him back, we would really be very excited about that,” said Fuller.
The producer was also pressed for Purge 3 plot details, and though he didn’t provide any, he did shoot down a rumor that’s been circulating around the web.
“I read that, too, about the first night of The Purge,” Fuller said, when asked if the third installment would be a prequel. “We don’t know anything about that. I read that, and I haven’t heard that so I’m not sure what that was. The material that we’re considering right now is not the first night of The Purge.”
