AMC's The Walking DeadOne of the big questions regarding AMC’s spinoff of “The Walking Dead” is where it’s going to be located, and today that answer has arrived.  According to TVLine, the zombie apocalypse is alive and well in Los Angeles!

Whether or not we’ll be seeing walkers strolling down Hollywood Boulevard remains to be seen, but the potential series (the pilot of which will be shot in early 2015) will indeed be based in the City of Angels.

Cast members revealed thus far include Cliff Curtis as Sean Cabrera, a teacher who shares a son with his ex-wife, Andrea, plus Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey as siblings Ashley and Nick Tompkins.

The remaining characters that have yet to be cast include:

CODY CABRERA: Sean’s whip-smart and rebellious teenage son. Known as the angriest kid in town.

NANCY TOMPKINS: A thirtysomething single mom to two kids, Nancy looks like the girl next door, but there’s an edge to her.

ANDREA CHAPMAN: A somewhat wilted flower child, fortysomething Andrea has retreated to the outskirts of the city to recover after a horrible marriage.
