2014 Reaper Awards Winners Announced; The Walking Dead: The Complete Third Season Named Title of the Year

The winners of the sixth annual Reaper Awards, presented by Home Media Magazine and DreadCentral.com, were announced today, and of course we have the full list right here.
Congratulations to our big winner, Anchor Bay’s The Walking Dead: The Complete Third Season, and thanks to everyone who voted!

Anchor Bay’s The Walking Dead: The Complete Third Season earned the top honor from the 2014 Reaper Awards competition. The limited edition release of the post-apocalyptic series, which came in a replica of an aquarium containing the heads of several of the zombie-like walkers, earned three awards, including Title of the Year and Best Packaging. The series also won Best Big Bad for the character of The Governor.
Best Boxed Set went to Shout! Factory’s The Vincent Price Collection, which contains Blu-rays of House of Usher (1960), The Pit and the Pendulum (1961), The Haunted Palace (1963), The Masque of the Red Death (1964), Witchfinder General/The Conqueror Worm (1968), and The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971). The set also won for Best Extras.
Best Title from the Vault went to Anchor Bay’s Halloween: 35th Anniversary Edition.
The 2014 Reaper Awards, presented by Home Media Magazine and DreadCentral.com, honored the top horror and thriller titles released between August 1, 2013, and July 31, 2014. Studios submitted contenders for consideration by a panel of judges in conjunction with a consumer vote.
