More Abominable 2 Details!

I know you guys have been dying to get more information on Abominable 2, the proposed sequel to Ryan Schifrin’s debut Sasquatch pic, since it was announced a few weeks back. Since I can’t let you suffer the entire holiday weekend begging for info, the official Jeffrey Combs site got some info to ease your mind.
”We’re still keeping the plot under wraps,” Schifrin told the site, ”but there is a military component, which Larry Hama really did a stellar job with, and the ending of the last one clearly sets up that there’s more than one of the furry critters out there. Think Aliens and Predator, but with Buddy and Preston thrown into the mix….”
The Buddy he refers to, of course, is Combs’ character from the first film, who apparently survived his run-in with the smelly beast and will be one of the main characters in Abominable 2. Oxygen tank and all? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
