Hills 2 Helmer Now on Clock Tower

Yet another change up in the world of Clock Tower, the movie adaptation of the groundbreaking survival horror game from Capcom, came to light today via Variety.

Hills Have Eyes 2 director Martin Weisz is now on board as director of the project, working from a script by Borderland penner Eric Poppen. Senator Entertainment is producing the adaptation, which will include elements of all three games, though mostly stick to the story in Clock Tower 2, in which a girl in a psychiatric hospital struggles to escape her family curse.

When we last reported on Clock Tower, Jorge Olguin (Sangre Eterna) was in the director’s chair, and since then I’ve heard all sorts of names attached. Hopefully this will be the last change-up and Senator will see the film through. Keep it here for updates!
