Dolan’s Cadillac Finally Ready to Roll?
Wow, talk about some casting changes; when the King short Dolan’s Cadillac was first announced to be adapted to film years and years ago, names like Sylvester Stallone and Kevin Bacon were attached to it. Now we’ve got to names like Christian Slater and Wes Bentley.
I don’t really know if that’s an up or downgrade, now that I think about it … Anyway, Slater has been announced to star in this morning’s Hollywood Reporter, playing a mob boss (!) who Bentley’s character is out to get revenge on for the murder of his wife, who will be played by the lovely Emmanuelle Vaugier.
Bon Cop, Bad Cop helmer Erik Canuel is the latest director signed on to the film, for which production is going to start up on May 14th. I think this is the first time in the long history of Dolan’s Cadillac that there’s actually been a shoot date, so that’s gotta be a good sign.
Keep it here for more on Dolan’s Cadillac as we get it! If you’re interested in reading the story the film will be based on, grab yourself a copy of King’s Nightmares & Dreamscapes collection. It’s good stuff.
Plan out sweet, sweet revenge in the Dread Central forums!
