Full SXSW Horror Lineup!

Dance of the Dead to premiere at SXSW!Yesterday we got official word from Warnrer Bros that Raw Feed entry Otis would be making its premiere at this year’s South by Southwest festival, running March 7th-15th. But Otis is just one of many new horror entries making their debut, as we found out today when the official lineup was announced.

‘Round Midnight is the name of their horror lineup this year, and included will be Dance of the Dead, a zombie story that goes down on the night of the big high school prom. The only people who can stop the dead are those who couldn’t get dates in this zomedy from Greg Bishop. The Signal star Justin Welborn (interview) has a role in this as well!

Not Your Typical Bigfoot Movie, about two amateur Bigfoot hunters who show that hope can be derived from one another, will be making its world premiere also. First I’ve heard of this one; same with Shuttle, directed by Edward Anderson, in which a late night shuttle ride home from an airport descends into terror.

Southern Gothic, the vampire movie from Tooth & Nail (review) writer/director Mark Young, rounds out the list of horror film rearing their heads this year. Be sure to check out SXSW’s official site for the full film lineup and a lot more!
