‘Train to Busan’ 10th Anniversary Trailer Brings the Global Phenomena Back to Theaters this August

I’m eagerly awaiting South Korean filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho‘s brand-new zombie flick Colony, coming to theaters this August. The film looks absolutely insane, as I expect from the filmmaker behind one of the best zombie films of the last decade or so, Train to Busan, also returning to theaters this August from Well Go USA Entertainment.

Well Go will be releasing the film in theaters across the U.S. and Canada on August 14, 2026, presented in 4K for the first time on the big screen! And today, we have a brand new trailer and key art below to celebrate Train to Busan‘s tenth anniversary.

Originally released in 2016, Train to Busan follows a group of passengers trapped in a train as they fight for survival during the outbreak of a deadly zombie virus.

The film made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and went on to become a global box office hit and a defining entry in modern genre cinema.

Train to Busan stars Gong Yoo (“Squid Game”), Ma Dong-seok, Don Lee (Eternals), Choi Woo-sik (Parasite), and Kim Su-an (The Battleship Island).

Colony will open in theaters on August 28, 2026.
