Four More Join the Cast of Agatha Christie Mystery ‘Eleven Missing Days’

More have been added to the cast of the Agatha Christie mystery, Eleven Missing Days. Deadline reports that Ryan McParland (Say Nothing), Alfie Allen (The Predator), Ben Hardy (pictured above in The Conjuring: Last Rites) and Stacy Martin (The Night House) have all signed onto the tale based on a true story around the legendary author.

Based on the book Agatha Christie and the Eleven Missing Days by scholar Jared Cade, the film “is based on the true story of the British author’s mysterious disappearance. The synopsis reads: In December 1926, at the height of her fame, Agatha Christie became front-page news when she vanished in bizarre circumstances from her home. In a case of life imitating art, this whodunnit explores the investigation behind her disappearance, strangely resembling an Agatha Christie novel itself where everyone in her life became a suspect.”

The new cast members join Felicity Jones (Train DreamsVincent Cassel (Black Swan).

Directing is Bertie Ellwood (Silo), from a screenplay by Ernesto Foronda (Better Luck Tomorrow).

Christie is a legend in the world of mystery, having written the novel Ten Little Indians, which has been adapted through various means over the decades. She disappeared in 1926 for eleven days, eventually found in a hotel in Harrogate. Christie had no recollection as to what happened to her, and to this day, it remains a mystery.
