Creepy Duck’s ‘Evil Dead Burn’ Fan Art Pays Tribute to ‘Evil Dead 2’
Right now, all eyes are on Obsession and Backrooms, but attention will soon turn to Evil Dead Burn, the second installment in the franchise’s current trilogy, which remains canon to the four films that came before it.
Evil Dead Burn has the beating heart of the Evil Dead franchise and feels incredibly authentic to the initial trilogy directed by Sam Raimi.
Poster artist Ceepy Duck is paying tribute with his Evil Dead Burn fan art, a direct callback to Raimi’s 1987 masterpiece, Evil Dead II.
Sébastien Vaniček directs this summer’s Evil Dead Burn, which is promised to be the franchise’s most savage and terrifying ride to date.
In the film, after the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites—turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell—she comes to discover that the vows she took in life live on… even in death.
Dune: Part Two actress Souheila Yacoub stars in Evil Dead Burn alongside Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), and Tandi Wright (Pearl), with Erroll Shand, Edgar Price, Maude Davey, Keanu Karim, and Victory Ndukwe.
“I told the studio that I wanted to make a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested,” Vaniček previously said of Evil Dead Burn.
“I’m going to put all the horror I have inside, it will be cathartic, and if I haven’t ruined my career and I can continue to make films behind it, I will move on to something other than horror!”
From producer Sam Raimi, Evil Dead Burn heads to theaters on July 10, 2026.
Evil Dead Wrath will open in theaters in April 2028.
