Psychological Thriller ‘The Servant’ Lands All-Star Cast Including Colman Domingo and Nicholas Hoult!

Colman Domingo (Pictured above in The Running Man), Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies), Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place), and Emma Corrin (The Crown) have been cast to star in the transgressive psychological thriller, The Servant, reports Deadline this morning.

Talk about a loaded cast!

A reimagining of the 1963 Joseph Losey film, The Servant is set in 1950’s New York and follows, “Tony (Hoult), an entitled British man who moves into a beautiful apartment on Central Park and becomes embroiled in a wicked power play with his manservant, Barrett (Domingo).”

Francis Lee (God’s Own Country) wrote and will direct the film.

Said Lee, “I am delighted to be working with my incredible cast on The Servant, an exciting, dangerous and fun retelling with a contemporary viewpoint of the classic film. Although this thrilling story is set in 1950’s New York, its themes feel more timely than ever, and I can’t wait for audiences to discover this film through fresh eyes.”

The project comes from Blueprint Pictures (All of Us Strangers). Mk2 (Anatomy of a Fall) is bringing the film to the Cannes market where it’s handling international sales. Film4 (Poor Things) is also aboard.

Production on The Servant is set to begin January 2027.
