‘Clayface’ Poster Will Melt Your Face Off
Ahead of the teaser trailer being released later today, Warner Bros. just dropped the official poster for the DC Universe comic book adaptation, Clayface, and it’s giving the gross body horror vibes we’re hoping for. In it, we see star Tom Rhys Harries‘ face melting, transforming into the titular character.

Clayface “tells the terrifying descent into hell of a promising Hollywood actor who has become a monster driven by revenge. An intense story that explores the loss of identity and humanity, the ravages of toxic love and the dark side of scientific ambition.”
James Watkins (The Woman in Black, Speak No Evil) is directing from a screenplay by horror maestro Mike Flanagan (The Exorcist, The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep) and Hossein Amini (Drive).
The project is being compared to David Cronenberg’s The Fly and focuses on a B-movie actor who drinks a substance meant to help his career, only to be left made entirely of clay.
Max Minghella (Spiral: From the Book of Saw) and Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice) also star.
Clayface melts into theaters on October 23rd.
