‘Mortal Kombat’ Star Ludi Lin to Become ‘The Unlucky’ in Thanksgiving Horror Film
Sci-fi thriller The Unlucky, starring Mortal Kombat‘s Ludi Lin, has been boarded by Berlin-based sales outfit Media Move, reports Deadline this morning.
The Canadian feature follows, “an Asian Yale graduate student who falls for a captivating young woman and accepts an invitation to her family’s Thanksgiving gathering—only to find himself ensnared in an alienating con that spirals into unimaginable horror.”
Quentin Lee will direct off a script he co-wrote with Dennis Escobedo.
Lin and Lee are producing under Lee’s Margin Films banner. Jennifer Price will executive produce.
Catch Lin reprising his role as Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat II when the film brings the fight to theaters on May 8th.
