Controlled Avalanche Goes Wrong on ‘Frostbite’ Sales Art

Surviving the disaster was only the beginning.
Dread Central scored the sales art for the thriller Frostbite, which follows a family trapped in a crashed cable car beneath the ice after a controlled avalanche goes wrong.
Filmed last year, Frostbite is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lukas Rinker (Holy Shit!) and stars Zoe Boyle, Kris Hitchen and Andrew Scarborough.
“When a ‘controlled’ avalanche blasting goes terribly wrong, environmental officer Martia and her family find themselves trapped under the snow in a crashed cable car. Battling their wounds, the cold, and inner demons, they soon learn that, just as bad as they want out, something… wants in.”
Reinvent Yellow has been selling the film internationally at this past weekend’s EFM in Berlin.
Producers are Tonio Kellner, Andrea Simml and Jakob Zapf, for Neopol Film and REinvent Studios.
“Frostbite takes the best from the disaster film genre and combines it with survival-thriller elements. Get ready to be taken on a high-tension cable car ride bound to go wrong in more than one way,” REinvent said last year. “Frostbite is sure to deliver an on-the-edge-of-your-seat experience.”
