Mubi Teases First Look at ‘I Saw the TV Glow’ Director’s ‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’!
DirectorJane Schoenbrun (I Saw the TV Glow) is taking audiences back to camp with psychological horror film Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, and Mubi has the first look through a series of GIFS through the studio’s X account, and now a pair of first-look photos!
In Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, “After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the Camp Miasma slasher franchise is handed over to an enthusiastic young director for resurrection. But when she visits the original movie’s star, a now-reclusive actress shrouded in mystery, the two women fall into a blood-soaked world of desire, fear, and delirium.”
The GIFS below tease alternate universes, hypnotic television and a hungry entity resting at the bottom of a lake, ala a certain villain with a birthday on Friday the 13th.
