Exclusive ‘Twisted’ Clip: ‘Terrifier’s Lauren LaVera Attempts a Hospital Escape!
Republic Pictures has shared with Dread an exclusive look at a clip from Darren Lynn Bousman‘s (Saw II-IV, Spiral) latest horror entry, Twisted, which features the studio debut of Terrifier franchise star Lauren LaVera as a con artist whose real estate scam unravels into a nightmare when she’s captured by a surgeon with a terrifying plan.
In the footage, she tries to flee the hospital but is stopped by a pack of dogs before being dragged back into the darkness by an unseen assailant.
LaVera stars alongside Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place: Day One), Mia Healey (“The Wilds”), Gina Philips (Jeepers Creepers), Jacob Lukas Anderson (AKA rapper Prof), Alicia Witt (Longlegs), and Neal McDonough (Minority Report).
The film will be available to buy or rent on digital February 6.
Unsane writers Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer penned the script.
In the film, “Two millennials make quick money by leasing incredible New York City apartments they don’t own to people who don’t know they are being scammed. The con works brilliantly until they run into an apartment owner with a dark secret who flips the game on them.”
