‘Son of Sara: Volume 1’ Turns a Dinner Party Into a Bloodbath [Image]
Saban Films has acquired U.S. rights for Canadian director Houston Bone’s horror Son of Sara: Volume 1, about a troubled pregnant woman who accepts an invite to a dinner party, which degenerates into a bloody and demented nightmare.
Deadline shares the first photo of Chloe Van Landschoot (Lune, From) in the film. She stars alongside Tymika Tafari (Settle Down), Garrett Hnatiuk (Father’s Day), and Jane Moffat (Fahrenheit 451).
The picture opened the Blood in the Snow Festival in Toronto in November 2025, where Van Landschoot won the festival’s award for Best Lead Performance in a Feature Film.
Son of Sara: Volume 1 is produced by Martine Brouillet under Bone’s Black Elephant Productions banner.
