‘Dolly’ Raises Her “Child” in Gory New Images

Yesterday, we shared the brutal official trailer for Shudder’s slasher Dolly, described as a daring blend of New French Extremity and 1970s American horror.
We now have a full-blown image gallery from the film, which stars Southbound‘s Fabianne Therese and Seann William Scott (The Wrath of Becky, Bloodline), and appears to be an homage to Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
The killer’s design looks great, and it promises a whole lotta gore.
In the film, “a young woman, Macy, fights for survival after being abducted by a deranged, monster-like figure who wants to raise Macy as their child.”
Rod Blackhurst (Night Swim) directs the film that’s based on their 2022 short Babygirl.
Ethan Suplee (Mallrats) and pro wrestler Max the Impaler also star.
The Super-16mm-shot folk horror film will open in limited theaters on March 6, 2026.
