Today, Amazon’s MGM dropped the very first full-length teaser trailer that fully reveals He-Man and Skeletor, both of whom look absolutely amazing. The footage carries heavy Thor and Flash Gordon vibes, and the way they ground the story in reality is perfect. I’ve gone from skeptical to obsessed in seconds.
The film stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man and Jared Leto as Skeletor.
In the film from director Travis Knight (Bumblebee): “After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia, where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.”
Also starring: Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley, and Idris Elba, alongside Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto.
He-Man returns in an all-new live-action feature film in theaters on June 5, 2026.
