Janet Montgomery Talks Why She Loves Playing Salem’s Mary Sibley

In case you haven’t noticed, we’re living in a true renaissance period for horror on television, and one of the best of the bunch is “Salem,” starring Janet Montgomery. In this new video she discusses why she loves playing the bewitching Mary Sibley on the show.
The Season 1 finale, which aired this past Sunday, left plenty of questions that we can’t wait to see answered in Season 2. We should have a few tidbits for you following the “Salem” San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, July 26th (you’ll find more details on that below).

In Season 1 the series stars Janet Montgomery as Mary Sibley, Shane West as John Alden, Seth Gabel as Cotton Mather, Ashley Madekwe as Tituba, Xander Berkeley as Magistrate Hale, Tamzin Merchant as Anne Hale, Elise Eberle as Mercy Lewis, and Iddo Goldberg as Isaac Walton. Stephen Lang guest stars as Increase Mather.
