Get a Sneak Peek of The Dead Files Season 6 PremiereTravel Channel’s “The Dead Files” returns on Saturday, July 12th, with its Season 6 premiere, and to help get you ready for the chills to come, we have a sneak peek to share as Amy and Steve head to Florida City.

In an all-new season of Travel Channel’s hit original series “The Dead Files,” premiering Saturday, July 12th, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, former NYPD Homicide Detective Steve DiSchiavi and medium Amy Allan head back on the road to help beleaguered homeowners as they uncover paranormal histories and mysteries buried within all-new haunted locations.

Moving to a new night of the week, the series’ sixth season features 13 hour-long episodes – each rife with gripping stories, eerie occurrences, and shocking conclusions.

In the season premiere Steve and Amy travel to Florida City, Florida – a town ravaged by Hurricane Andrew in 1992 – to help a frightened family terrorized by disturbing paranormal activity. The “attacks” have become so frequent that the entire family sleeps in the same room at night. Simultaneously, homeowner Tracy has undergone a drastic personality change, putting strain on her marriage. While DiSchiavi discovers Tracy’s property was once part of an area annihilated by the hurricane and near the scene of a vicious and fatal police shootout in 1916, Allan encounters several terrifying entities – including a group of decaying “zombie-like” entities and a dark shadow figure that has possessed the living for some time.

Upcoming investigations take place in Abilene, Texas; Chester Springs, Pa; Flint, Mich.; Ft. Barnwell, N.C.; Hanover, Pa.; Leslie, Mich.; Roseburg, Ore.; Santa Paula, Calif; St. Louis, Mo.; Sumpter, Ore.; Toledo, Ohio; and Warsaw, Ind.

“The Dead Files” is produced by Painless Entertainment, Inc., for the Travel Channel. For Painless the executive producer is Jim Casey, and the co-executive producers are Ross Kaiman and Rob Rosen. The executive producer for the Travel Channel is David E. Gerber.
