Let’s address the 800-lb. gorilla in the room… Hatchet County has NOTHING to do with Adam Green’s Hatchet franchise. Instead this is a beast of a different kind that’s trying to make the same kind of impression.

Adam Hulin directs for Eldorado Road Productions. Matthew B. Moore, Brett Mullen, and Sky Tilly tackled the story, and the screenplay comes courtesy of Matthew B. Moore.

Synopsis
The year is 1869, and Hell has scratched its way into post-Civil War Virginia. Murder’s become common talk, and fear crushes the region. With hope and morality slipping from the inhabitants of Hatchet County, they call on a rogue legion of heroes to drive the evil back to where it came.
