E3 2014: Sony Announces Mysterious New Horror Title Bloodborne

With the excitement at its peak during Sony’s press conference at E3, Playstation executive Shuhei Yoshida entered the scene. Amidst a gigantic round of applause, he announced a new title by developer Software, a team that he reports is “dear to my heart.”
Shuhei’s stamp approval is a promising sign as he unleashed the trailer for the previously unannounced horror title Bloodborne. Amidst shots of long forgotten surgical equipment, a slow dragging corpse, and extreme closeups of point blank murder, the new Bloodborne trailer is a true exercise in atmospheric horror.
But it’s not atmosphere alone, as a brief glimpse is caught of a gargantuan monster as it sneaks up in the background, playing on the horror of the unseen. The trailer closes with the announcement: Coming 2015.
In the months leading up to E3, content from Bloodborne was leaked under its alternate title, Project Beast.
