Make it Work with this New Teaser for BBC America's IntrudersWe still don’t know the premiere date of BBC America’s “Intruders,” but with the likes of Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Stamm involved, we’re keeping an open spot on our DVR for whenever the announcement is made. If you’re curious too, here’s a new teaser with a bit of a philosophical bent.

“Intruders” hails from writer/executive producer Glen Morgan (“The X-Files”) based on Michael Marshall Smith’s novel The Intruders. Sanchez (The Blair Witch Project, Exists) and Stamm (13 Sins, The Last Exorcism) are directing various episodes.

The creative team includes acclaimed production designer Mark Freeborn (“Breaking Bad”). The series is executive produced by Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner for BBC Worldwide Productions, Morgan, and Rose Lam (“The L Word”).

The tagline is “Don’t Let Them In,” but if you decide to anyway, look for “them” sometime this summer.

“Intruders” stars celebrated British actor John Simm (“Life on Mars,” “State of Play,” and “Doctor Who”) and Oscar winner Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite, Norma Jean & Marilyn, Human Trafficking) with James Frain (“The White Queen,” “Grimm,” “True Blood”) and Tory Kittles (“True Detective”) and introducing Millie Brown (“Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”), making her debut in a series lead role.

Synopsis:
“Intruders” is about a secret society devoted to chasing immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others.

A contemporary, chilling, paranormal tale set in the moody Pacific Northwest, “Intruders” spins a fascinating and complex web of drama. As strange, apparently unrelated events start happening, multiple storylines – a missing wife, an assassin covering his crimes, a child on the run – begin to intertwine to reveal a conspiracy that will forever change our understanding of human nature.

John Simm stars as Jack Whelan, a Los Angeles cop turned writer who has escaped a dark, violent past for a seemingly quiet life with his wife, Amy. When Amy goes missing, Jack is plunged into an investigation that forces him to confront the sins of his past and reexamine the very foundations he’s built his life upon.
