New iZombie Artwork Is Far from Brain Food

The CW has sent some new artwork for its upcoming series “iZombie” into the digital world, and we’ve gotta be upfront and honest… it’s about as bland as they come. Given the fun subject matter of the show, this is a real misfire. Hey, at least it’s early, right?

“iZombie,” from Rob Thomas Productions and Warner Bros. Television, is written by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero and produced by Thomas, Ruggiero, Danielle Stokdyk, and Dan Etheridge. Rose McIver stars alongside David Anders and Robert Buckley.

Synopsis:
Med student-turned-zombie Liv (McIver) takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity. But with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head. Based on the characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred; published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint.
