Great news for fans of Marvel’s Doctor Strange! The big screen version of the tale has found a director in Scott Derrickson (Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Deliver Us From Evil). Read on for details!

The film is being penned by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer. Marvel’s Kevin Feige is producing. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, and Stephen Broussard are executive producing.

Created in 1963, Doctor Strange is the story of an arrogant surgeon who is injured in a car accident and goes on to become the Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel universe. Using his magical powers, Strange protects the Earth from attacks from other realms.
