New The Dead Ones Motion Poster Confronts Chaos Head-On!

Back in 2009 director Jeremy Kasten came to us to let us know about his latest project, The Dead Ones. Here we are several years later and Kasten’s vision is getting set to finally descend upon the masses starting with this new motion poster!
Message from Jeremy Kasten
It’s been just over three months and we’ve come very far with The Dead Ones. The battle for this film remains fierce as its controversial subject matter is uncommon for horror and even indie movies.
THE FILM THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO SEE!
Some will try and ban this film and keep it from mainstream audiences. As the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre has said, “There exists in this country a callous industry that sells violence against its own people. The blood-soaked slasher films that are aired like propaganda loops on ‘Splatterdays’ portray murder as a way of life. And they have the nerve to call it entertainment.” The agenda to keep films about violence (especially in schools) from reaching the intended audience is nothing new and we will fight to be seen and heard. Join our fight and support The Dead Ones.
CINEMAGRAPHIC PRE-RELEASE POSTERS
The online posters for The Dead Ones (designed and photographed by the outrageously talented Mark Berry) feature a unique element to movie marketing – the posters are cinemagraphs, and we’re very proud to be breaking new ground in this respect as well. We’ll be releasing one poster a week, for the next four weeks at tD1s.com, so check them out!
FINAL DIGITAL EFFECTS & EDITING
The editing is complete and our final digital effects are almost done! We now have all of our completed shots back from digital effects maven Todd Groves. The film now has a big chase scene playing out as it was intended with no greenscreen involved!
Jake Akuna is working hard to finish up the last of our digital effects shots. We are also pleased to announce that our old friend Adam Pierce with Charged Studios has signed on this week. We are thrilled that Charged will be bringing their unique animation skills to our film. Chris Visser at Geiger Post has begun the process of designing a look for the final color of the movie. We’re extremely excited about his skills and what he brings to our film.
