First Images from Under the Dome Ep. 2.01 (Heads Will Roll) Reveal New Characters and More

CBS is freshening up “Under the Dome” in Season 2 with several new characters, and to go along with all the scoops we got yesterday, here’s a look at Eddie Cahill as Sam Verdreaux and Grace Victoria Cox as Melanie plus Stephen King and most of the regulars.
When Cahill’s casting was first announced, we learned he’d be playing Big Jim’s brother-in-law, a handsome recluse and former EMT; Cox’s Melanie will serve as a contrast to Norrie in her interactions with Joe.
Episode 2.01, “Heads Will Roll,” airs on Monday, June 30th. It was penned by Stephen King, and we should have the synopsis and lots more soon.
“Under the Dome” stars Mike Vogel (Barbie), Colin Ford (Joe), Alexander Koch (Junior), Rachelle Lefevre (Julia), Natalie Martinez (Linda), Dean Norris (Big Jim), Mackenzie Lintz (Norrie), and Britt Robertson (Angie).
The new season’s newcomers include Brett Cullen, Sherry Stringfield, Eddie Cahill, Grace Victoria Cox, Karla Crome, Dwayne Boyd, and Dwight Yoakam.
