Typically, when new clips and/or images for an upcoming film come across our desk here at Dread, we make it easy for you by showing them off. In the case of these viral goodies for William Eubank’s The Signal, you’re going to have to work for them. But we promise it’ll be fun.
And maybe a little spooky.
Focus Features has set up a fun little viral website for The Signal, which features a Google Earth-style satellite image of the country. All you have to do is enter the code LOCATE when prompted and you’re given access to the map, which we encourage you to play around with, as little goodies are hidden throughout.
To make it easy for you, watch the video below, which gives you specific coordinates to enter into the map. Have fun, be careful, and stay vigilant, friends!
The Signal will hit theaters on June 13 with Focus Features expanding the release on June 20 and again on June 27.
William Eubank directs The Signal from a script he wrote with Carlyle Eubank and David Frigerio. “Bates Motel’s” Olivia Cooke and “Hannibal’s” Laurence Fishburne star in the flick about group of college students who are lured to the middle of the desert by a hacker.
