Two Stephen King stories in one day? The man is on fire! This past March 14th King released a new short e-story, “Bad Little Kid,” in France and Germany, and it has now been optioned for a feature film by Laurent Bouzereau and his production company, Nedland Media Inc.
Per THR’s Heat Vision Blog, Bouzereau plans to direct. He previously wrote and directed the 2011 TCM film A Night at the Movies: The Horrors of Stephen King, which featured King discussing horror films and their popularity with moviegoers.
A supernatural tale, “Bad Little Kid” (which King says he wrote specifically for his fans in those two European countries who were so hospitable to him when he visited in November of last year) centers on a man whose life changes forever when he realizes that a mysterious boy is causing the deaths of people he loves.
