Our own Scott Hallam recently wrote that Son of Ghostman (review) should without a doubt be watched by all horror fans, despite the fact that it’s not really a horror film. Rather, it’s a love letter to horror films and the fans like us who simply cannot get enough of them.

Written and directed by Kurt Larson, the film stars Larson himself as well as Devin Ordoyne and Angela Gulner.
Synopsis
Denny McNamara has been recently dumped, he’s unemployed, and his older brother, Harold, is threatening to sell the house Denny rents. By all accounts he’s a loser. Motivated by his childhood hero, a local celebrity horror host named Ghostman, Denny tries to find his identity by throwing on monster makeup and becoming the “Son” of Ghostman. Thing is, Denny isn’t exactly suited for the role, but his awkward pain-inducing videos go viral anyway, and he must decide what and where his future lies.
