Live-Action Li?
Mark Tatulli’s daily comic strip Li? should be a favorite of all horror fans. While other funnies may touch on our genre occasionally, if not only during October, Li? goes balls out all the time with mayhem, Death and mad experiments. But, would this dialog-less comic strip make for a good movie?
Child’s Play producers Corey Sienega and David Kirschner seem to think so according Daily Variety. No other names have been tapped or mentioned yet aside from the two above, but Mr. Kirschner sounds like he knows in which direction to take this, “I’ve always had an affinity for characters like the Addams Family and Edward Scissorhands, who are seemingly dark but humorous and thoughtful at the same time.”
