‘Never Let Go’ Exclusive Photos Show A New Side of Halle Berry

Halle Berry is an icon, there’s no doubt about that. She’s shaped contemporary cinema with her enigmatic performances and that’s no different in her latest film, Never Let Go, directed by horror master Alexandre Aja (High Tension, Crawl). In this post-apocalyptic thriller, Berry embodies a role unlike anything you’ve ever seen as a mother who just wants to protect her loved ones.

Read the full synopsis below:

In this new psychological thriller/horror, as an evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep, the only protection for a mother, played by Academy Award® winner Halle Berry and her twin sons, is their house and their family’s protective bond. Needing to stay connected at all times – even tethering themselves with ropes – they cling to one another, urging each other to never let go. But when one of the boys questions if the evil is real, the ties that bind them together are severed, triggering a terrifying fight for survival.

Our exclusive images show Berry’s physicality as Mama, as well as a contrast between her ferocity and her love for her children. Plus, there’s one haunting image of her son Samuel (Anthony B. Jenkins)…

Percy Daggs IV and Will Catelett also star in the film.

The film hit theaters in September, with Berry going on an iconic press tour, including bad wig-only screenings where audience members were required to wear an ugly wig. Then, she’d appear and surprise theatergoers, handing out wigs to the wigless. where she surprised theatergoers . In case you’re out of the Halle Berry loop, she’s had a history of questionable wigs in her filmography, which isn’t really her fault. But instead of turning up her nose, Berry has leaned into the fun and embraced it. There’s nothing quite like a cinematic icon having a sense of humor and being unafraid to laugh at herself.
