‘Apartment 7A’ Exclusive Clip: A Bump In The Night
Rosemary’s Baby has transcended the horror genre in terms of its impact on cinematic history. You don’t have to love horror to appreciate the dreadful beauty of the Bramford or the stellar performance from Mia Farrow. Now, director Natalie Erika James is tackling that world with the prequel film Apartment 7A, which follows Terry, the previous tenant of the infamous apartment and a woman who died by suicide. Here, James gives this faceless character a backstory and autonomy while also delving into the Satanic cult that calls the luxury apartment building home.

An ambitious young dancer Terry Gionoffrio dreams of fame and fortune in New York City, but after suffering a devastating injury, an older, wealthy couple welcomes her into their home in the luxury apartment building the Bramford. When fellow resident and influential Broadway producer offers her another chance at fame, it seems that all her dreams are finally coming true. However, after an evening she can’t fully remember, disturbing circumstances soon have her second-guessing the sacrifices she’s willing to make for her career as she realizes that something evil is living not only in Apartment 7A, but in the Bramford itself.

James co-wrote the script with frequent collaborator Christian White and Skylar James, who also wrote the initial screen story for Apartment 7A.
Julia Garner stars in the film as Terry Gionoffrio. Dianne Wiest, Jim Sturgess, Kevin McNally, Marli Siu, Andrew Buchan, Rosy McEwen, and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith also star in the film.
Apartment 7A comes exclusively to Paramount+ on September 27, 2024.
